Land Rover Discovery (04 - 09)
Land Rover produced this Discovery generation with the intention of it being regarded as a complete all-rounder. They made huge strides in terms of durability, on and off-road driving and interior quality. The cabin is spacious and comfortable with plenty of leg and head room. The rear seats, in particular, are versatile as they can fold flat to transform it into a two, three, four, five, six or seven-seater. It is also well designed; instrumentation is clear and easy to hand while there is a high level of the technology. The Discovery is an exceptional off-roader while being more than decent on the tarmac. Handling is solid and there is a good feedback from the steering. Ride quality is good on and off-road; you rarely feel any of the lumps and bumps you normally would on rough surfaces. The off-road system, Terrain Response, has settings for gravel, grass, snow, sand and mud. It raises the Discovery 3’s height and alters the suspension to ensure as comfortable a drive as possible.
